I first stumbled upon Long Jetty in mid 2008. It's on the central coast of NSW, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney. I had no burning desire return there in the future, as nice a location as I thought it was. In 2009 by a random quirk of chance I've found myself there quite regularly, and this gallery documents these visits. I'm not a huge fan of jetty photos, but I see this as a challenge to try and see the location in different light, and from different angles. Even though in a lot of cases the compositions are similar, hopefully they each have their own qualities, brought about by different light.

Photos of mosquito larvae ('wrigglers'), the aquatic stage of a mosquito's life cycle. They are usually a few mm in length, commonly found wherever there is standing water.. These shots were taken thru a little glass aquarium made of 4 microscope slides.
